Fueling our Mornings

So, like many people, we start our mornings with one critical thing, coffee. Oftentimes, it is just me and the little one hanging out, so I don't like to use the multiple-cup auto-coffee machine. Believe it or not, I'm a ride-or-die for a good French-pressed cup of coffee. Maybe this stems from my years of making pour-overs for customers or maybe it's just helpful to control how much coffee I drink, we may never know, but there's just something about French press that makes it better.
Not only does it provide me some peaceful ASMR moments pouring hot water from the kettle, and the satisfaction of pressing down the plunger (is there a better word for that part? Hate to say plunger when talking about my coffee...), but it also allows the ground coffee to "bloom" more naturally and release more aromatics and flavor, as opposed to the quick brew of a coffee machine.
Now, I'm not just saying all this to pimp a product to you (although I am going to do that too). I genuinely enjoy this product as part of my morning, and of course, the coffee that it makes. It almost makes me feel a little less cheap about buying generic coffee grounds from Walmart (almost...), but nonetheless, coffee has been a critical part of my morning for many years. Of course with some breaks here and there, but I've always found my way back to that sweet sweet bean.
And let me just say too, I've had this French press for YEARS. It has been reliable, is relatively easy to clean all the filters, and even stays hot longer than I would expect so it's still at the ideal temperature when I go for cup #2.
